Bob was very much a people person, clever and witty he always made us smile. His gregarious nature meant that he made friends wherever he went. As a loving husband, father and grandad Bob was always there for his daughter and his grandchildren, always encouraging and instilling the confidence and skills to enable us to enjoy and move independently through life. He was a skilled and ingenious engineer bringing his immense practical skills and curiosity to every aspect of life. Cruelly, vascular dementia robbed Bob of these qualities.
