Terms and Conditions 

This draw is taking place to raise funds for two dementia charities – Alive Activities and BRACE. The prize is kindly being donated by an anonymous donor and the raffle is being run by two organisations, Alive Activities and BRACE. All funds raised through the sale of tickets will go directly to the two charities, with no deductions by the organisers or property owners.

The Raffle 

  • The cost of each ticket entry into the BRACE and Alive raffle is £10.  
  • There are no limitations on the number of tickets an individual can buy.  
  • The closing date for online entry into the raffle is 4pm on 18th October 2024.   
  • No tickets can be sold to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18 years.   
  • No refunds will be available for any tickets purchased.  
  • The likelihood of a ticket winning the prize in the raffle is one in 500.  
  • Audley Redwood is selling 100 tickets. These will be ticket numbers 1 – 100.  
  • Alive is selling 200 tickets. These will be numbers 101 – 300.  
  • BRACE is selling 200 tickets. These will be numbers 301 – 500. 
  • The prize draw will take place at Audley Dinner, Audley Redwood, on Friday 18th October 2024 .  The winner will be notified on Monday 21st October 2024.  
  • All ticket numbers will be entered into the draw and drawn at random.  
  • Money raised from tickets 1 – 100 will be split equally between Alive and BRACE Charities.  
  • Money raised from tickets 101 - 300 will go directly to Alive and support their charitable work.  
  • Money raised from tickets 301 – 500 will go directly to BRACE and support their charitable work.  
  • An individual winner can donate the prize to someone else if they choose to. 
  • In the instance of the winner not wanting to use the prize, a second draw will occur, and the winner will be notified by one of the organisers.  
  • Ticket purchases are not Gift Aid eligible. 

 

The Prize 

  • The draw is for 7 night's stay in Provence for 4 people in the ‘La Bastide de Magdeline’, a 2-bedroom property in the South of France.  
  • The prize must be taken for the week commencing September 27th 2025 until October 4th 2025. There is an option to extend the holiday until 11th October, allowing the winner to spend two weeks in the property, but this cost must be covered by the winner. This must be arranged with the organiser. 
  • The winner is responsible for the cost of travel to the property for all guests.  
  • No travel insurance is covered by either Alive or BRACE charities, it must be taken out by the winner. 
  • The winner must cover the costs of all spending money during the trip. 
  • No liability will be accepted by either Alive or BRACE for the winners whilst they are on the prize trip.  
  • Winners must ensure they have a valid passport which has 6 months before the expiry date in October 2025.  
  • The prize must be taken for the week commencing September 27th 2025 until October 4th 2025. This must be arranged with the organiser.  
  • The winner will be liable for any damage occurred to the property or its furniture and fittings during the length of their stay in the property. They must inform the owner immediately of any breakages/incidents.
