Tony Wilkie’s' life was filled with love and laughter, he always had a cheeky smile and a friendly word to say, and was dearly adored and loved by his 5 grandchildren, 3 children and loving wife. As you know he bravely battled vascular dementia and for over 12 years was cared for by his devoted wife and family. Sadly he has passed away, and whilst he is now at peace, he is greatly missed by all, taken by this cruel and, all too common illness. In his memory we would like to help move ever closer to finding a way of finding a cure to vascular dementia and preventing this cruel illness affecting other families in the way that is has us. We know that Tony would have felt proud if he could have in some way eased the pain that this disease brings on families.
